Grab your precut 10" and 5" squares to make this easy and fast quilt block! The best part? There's no cutting required! In just 5 minutes (or less), you'll have your quilt block sewn, pressed, and ready to use in your projects.
Although this quilt block does have a little fabric waste, it makes up for it with the speed and ease of sewing. This block is particularly great if you're looking for a quick quilt to sew for a gift or donation, if you have mobility issues and struggle with cutting, and if you're teaching younger children to sew and don't want them near sharp cutting tools yet.
This block also takes the guesswork out of using directional prints. No need to fussy cut and carefully sew so all prints are facing upright. This block will have your fabrics facing the correct way with no extra work or thought!

What will you make with this block? I whipped up 4 blocks and sewed them together into a pillow. But you could make one block for a pot holder, a few for a table runner, or a lot for a larger quilt! Get creative and see where this block design takes you!
