We're huge fans of Stephanie Sliwinski of Fancy That Design House! Stephanie is a surface designer, illustrator, and Moda Fabrics designer. Her work draws inspiration from nature and vintage designs to create timeless fabrics, art, and decor with a modern touch. So when we heard she was coming out with a coloring book, we couldn't wait to get our hands on it!
The book has 40 coloring pages that showcase a variety of fabric patterns, block designs, and quilt layouts. It's so fun to get creative with your colored pencils as you play with colors combinations and explore the possibilities of designs.

A feature we love is that each page is perforated, so you can easily rip them out for ease of coloring. And it also makes the pages easy to display or frame when you're finished! It would make fun decor in your sewing room or gifts for other creatives in your life. The coloring pages are printed on thick, high-quality paper and only one design per page, so colors don't bleed or show through to another design.
There's something for every type of quilter in this book! The coloring pages have a modern flair with some traditional elements and designs mixed in. And there are a lot of gorgeous florals that Stephanie is known for. Elizabeth had a relaxing Friday night coloring in a block design featuring both small- and large-scale florals, stripes, and even an applique flower center.

Coloring books are such a great addition to any quilter's home. Not only do coloring books have a calming effect on the mind, but they can also improve focus and increase creativity. (What's not to love?!) We can't wait to spend more time coloring in our Modern Quilting Coloring Book!
